Fish have been a little more finicky than usual but are still totally catchable. I think this snap of cooler weather should transition us into some fun fall fishing conditions.

Savage Is, Sort Of, Fishable.

At 327cfs the Savage River is fishable for the very experienced wader. If you are not super familiar with the river I would wait a couple of days for lower flows and fish some flatwater! I got into a few nice sized yellow perch the other day!
