OK, I didn't really read the rules when I started posting fish for the Drake Big Year. Got it now.

Sulphur Sunday? Nope.

They stack up in the flat in front of the parking lot and decide they don't want drys. I had to single them out and force feed them a dropper, but picked plenty of them off. Not a bad Sunday. 

Side Note: Saw some Gizzard Shad in the River interesting....  ;)

Bass Out Front.

As a guy fishing plugs put it, "Rat Size Bass" were all over the groins at sunrise but the bite shut off by 7AM. 

I of course missed the bunker, 30+ pound bass, and the 42in Bluefish all my old buddies where talking about. This shouldn't be the end of the bass. As for 42in Blues, I am not sure I want to see one. I will, however, hook up with a few 30+ inchers mid August. 

Bluefish Out Back...

I hooked up with a few little Tailor Blues on the flats. I think this week will be it for consistent flats fishing. Summer is on its way. I was surprised to see these still hanging around.
